Go Nintendo posted: What a relaxing night I had. I went and picked up a game, came back to the warehouse and just chilled out with Mom B.. There was some TV watchin, some chit-chatting, and ton of relaxation. I have to make sure I take this approach next week! For now though, it’s on with the regular work schedule! I’m not surprised to see someone complaining about Nintendo’s pairing of Facebook with the DSi. In this instance, we hear that the service isn’t matched with Nintendo’s market for the DSi. Since Facebook doesn’t allow those under the age of 13 to sign up, Nintendo is missing out on the younger crowd with the device.

This is just me, but wasn’t Nintendo always reaching out to all types of audiences with the DS/DSi?

“We know a lot of people out there like playing with their friends, with their family, and so we wanted to support that. But the other reason [for the co-op play] is that we kind of wanted to move away from strict survival-horror rules – which are, you’re alone, you have to really watch your back, [and] conserve ammo all the time – and move more in the direction of action-horror.” – John Calhoun, senior designer of Dead Space: Extraction

I think co-op in this sort of game makes perfect sense, even if it’s not going to play into the story. I just want to bring a friend along so I don’t get so scared!

Thedudewhosadude sent in an update concerning the Okami preorder seeds that Capcom put out before the game launched. How did they actually hold up?

I think they actually took quite well! At least Okami is living on for one person.

Low vitamin D levels were especially common in children who were older, female, African-American, Mexican-American, obese, drank milk less than once a week, or spent more than four hours a day watching TV, playing video games or using computers, the study found. – the journal Pediatrics study

Well, I guess game developers are going to have to find a way to add in Vitamin D supplements to their games. How about packing each game with some string cheese?!

Were you one of the lucky millions that had a Game Boy when it was on the market? Were you even around when the Game Boy was sweeping the nation? The author of the article below was around during that time, but his parents wouldn’t let him get one. An NES was allowed in the house, but a Game Boy might ruin his eyes, said the parents. A bit of strange logic, don’t you think?
