Zoo Entertainment Europe Limited would like to talk to developers with projects near completion and are keen to view design pitches for future projects from developers looking for European or worldwide publishing deals. Zoo Entertainment Europe’s parent company Zoo Games, Inc., based in North America, already supplies a rich variety of games that will be published by the European arm. In addition to this, Zoo Entertainment Europe is looking to develop and publish a catalogue of quality titles that appeal to both the European and the broader global markets.
Richard Underhill, Development Manager, said;
At present our output is mainly Nintendo based. However, we recognise that Sony and Microsoft platforms, both retail and digital download, offer us new opportunities and we’re actively seeking products in those areas too. We are keen to hear from any developers that have interesting projects that they would like to discuss with us. In addition, we are constantly seeking out new partnerships for future co-operation in order to strengthen our output. Even if you have nothing specific in mind we may have some concepts that you might be interested in taking forward, so get in touch. We’re not just opening opportunities to established developers either! Through our indie games portal at www.2beegames.com, we offer smaller developers or even individuals a unique chance to reveal their hard work to an already large and rapidly growing community.
2BeeGames is currently taking submissions for the 2nd Indie Game Competition, where the best games from independent developers, as chosen by the 2Bee Community, not only win cash prizes but can also negotiate a publishing contract with Zoo Games.
Thanks to AusGamer for the heads up!

We’re looking for a few good Spyborgs wallpapers, and when it comes to creative, IMO nobody’s better than you–the community. With that in mind, we present to you, the Official Spyborgs Wallpaper Contest. This is your chance to create not just any old wallpaper, but our officially official wallpaper.

Game Informer looks at the games they believe game publishers/developers would love to pretend never happened. Once again, a game that I actually liked a lot returns for another bashing.
Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast (46)
Nintendo Wii/2007
What we said: “The lack of online racing and leaderboards makes this game even more useless. If you want arcade racing on the Wii, dust off your copy of Excite Truck or just wait it out for Mario Kart.”
I never understood why the press crapped on this one so much. Can any owners out there fill me in on the hatred?

Mr. Parish continues his road to the Game Boy by looking at other platforms that inspired Nintendo’s work. Next up is Epoch Game Pocket Computer. Seriously…this thing is for your pocket?!

It took a little longer than I thought, but hackers have indeed managed to squash the anti-piracy measures that Nintendo put in place with the DSi’s 1.4 firmware upgrade.

Someone is none too happy with the way Spirit Tracks is looking, but they couldn’t be more pleased with Boswer’s Inside Story. Let me sum up the agrument for you.
- Spirit Tracks is gimmicky because temples are designed around interacting with a Phantom to solve puzzles that would be impossible to pass without him.
- Bowser’s Inside Story is brilliant because you do things with Bowser’s outside to help clear paths for Mario and Luigi on the inside
Let me just play devil’s advocate here. While I am equally excited for both games, I find Spirit Tracks making more sense. A series of puzzles built around the need of a Phantom seems like it could fit into the storyline of the temple development perfectly. These temples were not meant to be tackled by anyone that couldn’t harness the power of the Phantom. On the flip side, Mario and Luigi are being attacked/blocked by Bowser body parts and food bits, yet these can easily be cleared away by Bowser huffing, puffing and drinking?
As I said, I am really looking forward to both games, and I’m not saying the person that wrote this article is wrong. In fact, neither of us is right! I just happen to see things from the other side of the fence on this one.

“I’ve got no updates to provide on new potential titles for Z&W. Sorry.” – Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer/VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development
Just yesterday, Capcom teased a sequel to a title…but that’s all they said. I guess hoping for Zack and Wiki 2 isn’t going to be worth our time.

Here’s a game that I don’t remember..because I never played it! After checking out the article below and the video above, I feel like I missed out on quite a fun little title. So…Nintendo…when is this baby going to hit the VC?!
