And all of a sudden, it’s August. Wallace & Gromit’s run on PC has wrapped up, and we’re back to releasing episodes for one game at a time for the foreseeable future. The current season, of course, is Tales of Monkey Island, one episode deep in a five-chapter run at present. Because the first chapter, “Launch of the Screaming Narwhal” was released in July, and it is no longer that month, we’ve been getting a steady stream of folks asking us (with a mixture of disarming emoticons and well-intentioned threats) when the next chapter is due for release.
Well, wonder no longer: Chapter Two of Tales of Monkey Island, “The Siege of Spinner Cay” will be available for PC on August 20 (Pacific Time)!
I wonder if this means that Wii owners will be able to get their hands on the WiiWare version shortly thereafter. The 20th is a Thursday…so could we see it on the 24th?

Multitasking
I can’t think of any better way for gaming to prepare you for success at your job. What job doesn’t require multitasking from time to time?! I could use some better multitasking skills right now, but I’m too busy doing work and thinking about games!

A portion of an NWR review…
Roogoo Twisted Towers is a solid puzzler that might garner some fans thanks to its compelling gameplay concepts and interesting character designs. Unfortunately, its sometimes overcomplicated gameplay causes it to fall short of greatness.

The Nintendo trademark listing for ‘Super Mario Collection’ has gotten quite the reaction around the internet. No one really knows what the listing means, but the buzz seems to be that this could very well be another collection of Mario games in the same style as Super Mario All-Stars. If that’s the way things go…what games would you want to see included?
