“There are no plans right now for NASCAR from EA. We had a great relationship over the years that I thoroughly enjoyed when I first got here. Unfortunately…we had to make some tough trade-offs. We’ve had to redeploy some of those folks. A number of the NASCAR team has moved over now to EA Sports MMA, which will be shipping next year. [We’re] still a huge fan of NASCAR, but no plans right now to develop any further games for NASCAR from EA Sports.” - EA’s Peter Moore
It’ll be interesting to see what happens with the NASCAR license from here on out. EA’s kart racer was actually a lot of fun. I hope they take those mechanics and pour them into another racing title…other than MySims.

A portion of a SPC review…
Many will finish the game in ten hours or so (if they’re not cheating, that is), while the bounty of bonus content, stuff that trumps Curious Village, will stretch the longevity of the game even longer. With the Diabolical Box, the solution is simple: you must add this game to your collection.

A portion of a 1up review…
The franchise still has a long way to go to catch up to Rock Band’s mind-bogglingly large library of downloadable songs, but, on the software side, GH5 is the feature leader.

“I play a lot of Wii games, and too many of them ask you to waggle all the time. We wanted to prevent that as much as possible and to reward players for using the remote in an intelligent way.” – Daniel Bisson, creative director on Avatar for Wii
Well, it’s nice to hear that someone is at least trying to do something about the wagglefests that are out there. It’s just surprising to see the game involved being a movie-to-game adaptation.

Are we getting any closer to unearthing the game behind these images, or are they just confusing us more?! Anyone have any solid ideas?

A portion of a Dtoid review…
Despite its marked improvements, those who have have pledged their allegiance to other music titles likely won’t be swayed, but that doesn’t mean Guitar Hero 5 isn’t worth your time.
